Terms of Service

By accessing or using the services provided by The Sharp K9 ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

The Sharp K9 provides the following services:

• Dog training (private sessions, obedience training, behavior modification)
• Pet sitting (in-home care, daily visits, extended stays)
• Owner-Trained Service Dog (OTSD) support and guidance
• Aquarium installation and maintenance
• Pet hygiene services
• Consultations and assessments

Reservations

• All services require advance booking through our consultation process
• A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified
• Prices are subject to change with notice

Cancellation Policy

• 24-hour notice required for cancellation of regular services
• 48-hour notice required for pet sitting reservations
• Late cancellations may incur a fee up to 50% of the service cost
• No-shows will be charged the full service amount

To ensure the safety of all pets in our care:

• All dogs must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella)
• Proof of vaccination must be provided before first service
• Pets must be free of contagious illnesses or parasites
• You must disclose any behavioral issues, medical conditions, or special needs
• Spayed/neutered pets are preferred for group settings

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your pet(s)
• Provide necessary supplies (food, medications, leashes, etc.)
• Ensure safe access to your home for in-home services
• Provide emergency contact information
• Notify us immediately of any changes to your pet's health or behavior
• Follow training recommendations and homework assignments

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Pet care and training involve inherent risks
• We are not liable for injuries or illness that may occur during or after services, unless caused by our negligence
• We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that may worsen
• You are responsible for any damage your pet may cause to our staff, equipment, or property
• Training results depend on client follow-through and consistency

In the event of a medical emergency:

• We will attempt to contact you immediately
• If we cannot reach you, we will contact your designated emergency contact
• We are authorized to seek emergency veterinary care if necessary
• You are responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred
• We will use your preferred veterinarian when possible

By using our services, you grant us permission to:

• Take photographs and videos of your pet during services
• Use such media for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and marketing materials
• You may opt out of this by notifying us in writing

All content on our website and training materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Sharp K9 and protected by intellectual property laws.

We reserve the right to terminate services at any time if:

• Your pet poses a safety risk to our staff or other animals
• You provide false or misleading information
• You fail to make timely payments
• You violate any of these terms of service
• Continuing service would be detrimental to your pet's wellbeing

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state where services are provided.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
